Polestar Teaser

The Polestar 2 BST 270 was a limited run of 270 units. Before that, it was a special version of the Polestar 2 made for the Goodwood Festival. Next week, Polestar is going to unveil the "next edition" of the Polestar 2, and it looks a lot like a new BST (which, by the way, stands for "beast").

Since the original BST's unveiling, Polestar has announced a new Polestar 2, and our guess would be that the next edition of the BST will now be based upon this updated car. It's unclear if the production run will be limited to the same extent as its predecessor's. Let's take a look at this video teaser shared by Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath. It clearly shows a car with gold brake calipers, just like the first BST.

The Polestar official Twitter account proceeded to share a screengrab of the wheel from that video, very shortly afterwards. So it's pretty clear what this teaser is hinting at.

Buckle up. Something thrilling is about to be unleashed on March 21. pic.twitter.com/ybnpBPswp6

The good news is that we don't have a lot of waiting to do in order to find out exactly what Polestar has in store for us. The unveiling of the "next edition" of the Polestar 2 is set for March 21, which is next Tuesday. Stay tuned and we'll bring you the news as it happens.
