Luxeed, the joint venture between Huawei and Chevy just announced updates to two of its EV models - the Luxeed S7 and the Luxeed R7.
The updated Luxeed S7 sedan and the R7 SUV starting prices are now RMB 229,800 ($32,100) and RMB 249,800 ($35,000). Both models come in three variants - Max, Max+ and Max Ultra.
The most notable updates to the models are Huawei's ADS 4 driving assistance system, and they are the first models to be launched after the start of Phase 2.0 for the Luxeed company. The ADS 4 comes as standard with 192-channel LiDAR, a rear-facing LiDAR coupled with 4D millimeter-wave radars.
Interestingly, the S7 sedan is now offered only in BEV variant, which promises 531 miles range, according to the CLTC measurements, while the R7 retains both the BEV and the EREV options. The BEV can go for 457 miles on a single charge according to CLTC.
