Tesla

Tesla is once again taking Model S and Model X orders in Europe, after a hiatus of more than eight months. Tesla decided to stop taking Model X and Model S orders outside of North America due to production issues. Those same issues caused a Model S and X drought in Europe from January 2021.

But now Tesla is once again taking orders for the two cars, starting with the Plaid variants. Both the Tesla Model S Plaid and the Model X Plaid are listed as eligible for delivery from December 2022 until February 2023, which would likely mean that Tesla will deliver first the cars to those who've pre-ordered since January 2021 and then deliver new orders.

Tesla says the long-range Model S and Model X will be available in 2023.

Resuming orders in Europe could potentially increase the wait for the Model S and X in North America, where the cars are currently pretty backlogged.

The Model X Plaid's estimated shipping is between August and October 2022, while the regular Model X is estimated for March to June 2023.

The Model S is expected to ship to North American buyers between October 2022 and January 2023, while the Paid model is a bit easier to find with a shipping estimate of August-September of 2022.
