Waymo

Waymo has expanded its driverless robotaxis to Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio in Texas and Orlando in Florida today. With these additions, the service is now up and running in ten US cities.

As with all Waymo expansions into new cities, the service will initially be open to "select riders", who will receive an invitation to take their first local rides today.

New people will be invited "on a rolling basis", in order to ensure a seamless experience. The service will be opened up to everyone with the Waymo app "later this year", the company says in its official press release.
