Nio

Nio announced a new Signature Edition of its ET9 flagship sedan after the Limited Edition model, which was launched on December 21st, sold out within 12 hours. The ET9 Signature Edition is priced from RMB 808,000 ($110,700), making it RMB 20,000 more expensive than the standard version.

The ET9 Signature Edition comes with several exclusive features that set it apart from the standard model, such as unique logos, complimentary 23-inch premium wheels, and a free NOMI Mate 3.0, Nio's advanced AI assistant that provides a personalized and interactive experience for drivers and passengers. Basically - it is just a renamed Limited Edition.

Nio's decision to launch the Signature Edition follows a surge of requests from customers who missed out on the Limited Edition model. The Limited Edition was capped at 999 units, featured distinct body logos, interior logos, and carpet lights, and came standard with premium features like the NOMI Mate 3.0 and 23-inch wheels.

The ET9 Signature Edition orders can be placed through the Nio App. The estimated delivery wait time for the Signature Edition is currently 13-16 weeks, the same as the standard version.

Nio has also extended purchase incentives for the ET9 to April 30th, 2025. These were previously set to expire on January 31st, 2025, and include five years of free battery swap service (up to 20 times a year) and five years of free NOP+, Nio's advanced driver assistance system.

Deliveries of the ET9 will start in late March 2025 and will be based on order-locked times. The ET9 is Nio's most expensive vehicle to date, with the standard edition starting at RMB 788,000 ($108,000), including the battery.
