Nio

In just two days, Nio Day 2022 will take place and the company already confirmed it's announcing two new models there. Now we get Nio a short teaser video showing one of those.

The video shows an electric rear wing, and according to CarNewsChina it belongs to the Nio EC7. The other new car to debut at the event is going to be Nio ES8 2023, the publication claims.

The mechanized rear wing should help EC7's high speed performance.

The new cars will be based on Nio's new NT2.0 platform as the company has already committed to migrating its entire lineup to that one. The EC7will have the latest NAD (Nio Autonomous Driving) technology, which will include NIO Aquila Super Sensing and NIO Adam Super Computing.

That means we can expect two electric motors with around 650 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, and 75kWh or 100kWh battery packs.

Alongside the new cars Nio will also likely introduce its third-generation battery swap stations with support for 800 volt charging and storage for up to 22 batteries.
