Porsche is expanding its electric vehicle offerings in the US with the addition of new Taycan models. This expansion brings the total number of Taycan variants to an impressive thirteen.

The latest additions to the Taycan family bring more power, extended range, faster acceleration, and faster charging capabilities.

The new Taycan GTS is available in both sports sedan and Sport Turismo body styles. This model offers a peak power output of 690 hp with Launch Control.

The Taycan GTS accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 3.1 seconds, thanks in part to a new push-to-pass function that provides an extra boost of 93 hp. To complement its performance, the GTS features a distinctive Electric Sport Sound profile, setting it apart from other Taycan models.

Aesthetically, the Taycan GTS stands out with numerous black or anthracite grey exterior details, including Sport Design front and rear aprons and exclusive 20-inch Taycan Turbo S Aero Design wheels. The interior is equally refined, drawing inspiration from the Taycan Turbo GT models with Race-Tex and smooth black leather elements.

On the other end of the spectrum, Porsche introduces the Taycan 4, an entry-level all-wheel drive sedan. This variant combines high efficiency with the performance advantages of all-wheel drive, offering an overboost output of up to 402 hp with the standard Performance battery or 429 hp with the optional Performance Battery Plus.

The Taycan 4 sprints from 0 to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and comes equipped with 19-inch Taycan aero wheels, black brake calipers, and Matrix Design LED headlights. The interior features comfort seats, black partial leather trim, and a 10-speaker Sound Package Plus.

All new Taycan models benefit from advancements in powertrain technology, battery performance, thermal management, and recuperation capabilities. These improvements contribute to both enhanced performance and increased efficiency.

At 800-volt DC charging stations, the Taycan can be charged at up to 320 kW under ideal conditions. The maximum recuperation capacity during deceleration from high speeds has also increased to an impressive 400 kW.

The Taycan 4 sports sedan has a starting MSRP of $103,300, while the Taycan GTS starts at $147,900 for the sedan and $149,800 for the Sport Turismo. These new variants are available to order now, with deliveries expected to begin in late Q1 of 2025.
