Zeekr

Zeekr has unveiled its refreshed 2025 Zeekr 007, a performance-oriented electric sedan that promises to push the boundaries of fast charging. The standout feature of the new model is the second-generation Golden Battery, a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) power pack developed by Zeekr that delivers an impressive 5.5C charging speed. This translates to a 10% to 80% charge in just 10.5 minutes, making it the fastest-charging EV battery on the market.

The 2025 Zeekr 007 comes in four versions, ranging from a rear-wheel-drive model priced at RMB 209,900 ($29,350) to a high-performance all-wheel-drive model priced at RMB 299,900 ($41,950). All versions offer impressive acceleration, with the rear-wheel-drive model reaching 0 to 62 mph in flat 5 seconds and the all-wheel-drive performance version achieving the same feat in a blistering 2.84 seconds.

The second generation Golden Battery has been subjected to some of the most extreme testing, including being thrown into a 1,830°F fire, to ensure its resilience and safety. Combined with the battery's fast-charging capabilities, the Golden Battery has become a popular choice among Zeekr 007 buyers, with 66% opting for versions equipped with it.

In addition to the groundbreaking battery technology, the 2025 Zeekr 007 features several other interesting upgrades. The Haohan intelligent driving 2.0 system, powered by two Nvidia Orin X chips, offers enhanced autonomous driving capabilities, including improved navigation through complex intersections and advanced parking features. The system will continue to receive over-the-air updates, with a door-to-door autonomous driving capability expected in early 2025.

The Zeekr operating system enables voice control of all car functions from any seat. The system can also make proactive recommendations based on the driving scenario, such as reminding the driver to charge the car or adjusting the air conditioning when entering a tunnel.
