Tesla announces Actually Smart Summon for the Cybertruck

Tesla

Tesla's Actually Smart Summon has been available since 2024, but so far the Cybertruck has weirdly been left out of the party. That is finally changing, thankfully.

Tesla has just revealed that the feature is coming to the Cybertruck, and made the video below to celebrate the occasion.

Unfortunately, the company hasn't actually said anything about the rollout: exactly when it's starting, what update you need for this to work, or really any other details aside from the video.

Still, it's been a very long time coming for Cybertruck owners, and now the wait is almost over. In case it's not obvious from the video, Actually Smart Summon lets Teslas navigate parking lots, picking you up from your current location (tracked via your phone's GPS), all on their own, with no human inside. Thus the name - you summon the car to your location (or you can also send it to a specific location).
