Tesla

The longer version of the Premium Model Y is finally launching in the US. The Model Y L was first introduced for the Chinese market and is now ready to roll on the streets of the US as well. This version has a slightly longer wheelbase, more interior space and, of course, three rows of seats that can host up to six people.

You can go to Tesla's official website and start configuring your Model Y L, but the only available trim for the time being is the Model Y L AWD Launch edition. It starts at $61,990, which is about $16,000 more expensive than the regular Model Y Premium.

The EPA range on the Model Y L is 325 miles with an 82 kWh battery and two motors with a combined output of 514 hp.

The interior goodies include heated and ventilated seats in the first two rows and only heating for the third row as standard.
