Tesla

Tesla has raised the US price of the Model Y, Model S, and Model X, but left the price of the Model 3 unchanged.

On Tesla's site, the Model S and X are now $1,000 more expensive, while the Y is $250 more than it was yesterday. Those represent a change between 0.5% and 1.1%, not a big one, and the cars are still cheaper than they were at the beginning of the year. Te Model S is 16% cheaper, the X is 19%, while the Y is 23%.

Tesla raises Model S, X, and Y prices in the States

Tesla's prices have been a roller-coaster since January. The carmaker has cut prices six times in the US, then raised them a couple. It's clear Tesla is okay with giving up some profit margin for volume.

At the moment, the Model 3 has an unchanged starting price of $40,240, the Model Y's long-range starts at $47,490, the Model S starts at $88,490, and the Model X starts at $98,490.
