The Kia EV6 gets the Car of the Year 2022 award

During this year's Geneva International Motor Show two cars from Hyundai Motor Group took awards. The award Car of the Year 2022 went to the Kia EV6 with 279 total points while the Hyundai Ioniq 5 took third place with 261 points.

Kia EV6 is official with impressive performance and range

Second place was given to Renault E-TECH Electric at 14 points behind the first place. This year six out of the seven finalists are EVs. The only non-EV is the Peugeot 308, which took the fourth position. Notably, this one can be ordered as a plug-in hybrid as well. The other three cars that made it to the finals are the Skoda Enyaq iV, Ford Mustang Mach-E and the Cupra Born.

22 European elected a 59-member to announce a winner. You can watch the full ceremony at the YouTube link down below.
