BYD

BYD's premium brand YangWang announced its big luxury SUV, the U8, earlier this month, delivering some impressive specs and hyping up its custom Yisifang platform. It enables the car to perform a 360-degree turn in place, but also takes care of safety by keeping it go in a straight line in the event of tire blowout.

Now we've got a video showing that later feature in action. The YangWang U8 is at a testing track, demonstrating the whole thing at actual highway speeds.

The video shows the YangWeng U8 going at 120km/h when the device attached to the car's front wheel deflates the tire fully. The car keeps a perfectly straight line before coming to a complete stop.

The YangWeng U8 is one impressive vehicle from both a technological and performance perspectives and we can't wait for the first deliveries to start and see it around the streets.
