Acura Honda

At CES earlier this month, Honda showcased its first self-developed EV platform, as well as its proprietary Asimo OS. And today, we know what the first EV to use both of these will be.

Meet the Acura RSX, based on the Acura Performance EV Concept and shown below with a full suit of camo designed by the global Acura Design team - that's all we get for now. This model will debut Honda's platform and its Asimo OS. The RSX will be a premium SUV.

Production is set to start "later this year" at the Honda EV Hub in Ohio. It will be the first EV produced there. Development testing in real world conditions will start this week, with prototype models driving around in camo which "emphasizes the sleek, coupe-like silhouette with sophisticated patterns that emulate light emerging through the camouflage to convey calmness, strength, and inner power", the official press release says.

If you're wondering what to expect from the new RSX, it's "fun-to-drive performance". Undoubtedly, more details will be revealed in the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned.
