XPeng

Chinese brand XPeng has officially made its debut in the UK today, where it's started taking orders for the G6, the first model it's bringing to the country.

The G6 starts at £39,990 in the Standard Range configuration with a 66 kWh LFP battery, and £44,990 in the Long Range trim with an 87.5 kWh NMC battery. The former is rated for 270 miles of WLTP range, while the latter goes up to 354 miles. Thanks to the G6's 800V architecture, it can charge at up to 215 kW (SR) or 280 kW DC (LR), going from 10 to 80% in less than 20 minutes.

The SR delivers 190 kW (258 PS) of power, the LR goes up to 210 kW (286 PS), both reaching a maximum of 440 Nm of torque. The top speed for both versions is 124 mph. Acceleration from 0 to 62 mph is 6.6 seconds for the SR and 6.2 seconds for the LR.

The G6 has a heat pump as standard and a 14.96-inch central infotainment screen. It's 187.1 inches long, 75.6 inches wide, and 65 inches tall, and has a 113.8 inches wheelbase. Deliveries are set to start in the UK in March.
