Rivian

During the Monterey Car Week auction, a unique Rivian R1S Quad Pebble Beach edition was sold for a whopping $175,000, beating all estimates. That's about $50,000 more than the top-end Quad Launch Edition configuration. All proceeds will go toward a crowdfunding campaign that aims to bring access to clean water for communities across the globe.

What's unique is the exterior and interior styling. The chassis gets a special paint job called Monterey Silver, inspired by the warm sunrise over Monterey Bay. The brake calipers stand out in Laguna Beach Blue color. The 22-inch rims are also unique and adopt a three-tone styling.

The interior also adopts a unique styling, offering a blend of Pebble Stone-esque upholstery and warm wood. The cabin is called "Coastal Canvas" and features gradient finishes blending teal blue, vivid red and golden yellow.
