Xiaomi

A Xiaomi SU7 owner has gone viral on Weibo after reporting impressive battery health after 164,660 miles. After visiting Xiaomi's service center, he received a report showing 94.5% battery health after his 18 months of non-stop use. The numbers achieved mean Mr. Feng, the SU7 owner, has driven nearly 311 miles per day on average.

Most automakers give 8 years or 93,200 miles battery warranty, promising it will not experience more than 20% to 30% degeneration. Even Tesla, warrants the Model 3 and Model Y batteries for 8 years or 99,400 miles with a minimum retained capacity requirement of 70%.

According to the report on the said SU7, the 94.3 kWh battery has theoretically undergone around 506 complete charging cycles. That's very impressive.

In addition to the battery report, the service center also revealed that the vehicle has never needed brake pad replacement and the coolant doesn't contain any water whatsoever.

Mr. Feng now has a new goal. He wants to become the first SU7 owner to reach 373,000 miles driven, something he reckons will happen in 3 years and will report back on the wear and tear of his vehicle.
