Alfa Romeo

Alfa Romeo Junior was announced back in April, but only the standard version was detailed. Now, the top-tier Veloce version of the vehicle is headed for its final road test. It will debut with Alfa Romeo's own 280 hp electric motor capable of 207 kW (280 hp) output and 345 Nm torque.

The team behind the Alfa Romeo 4C, 8C, Giulia & Stelvio Quadrifoglio, Giulia GTA has also developed the said electric motor. And it will be tested on the Junior Veloce in a couple of days at the Balocco Proving Grounds. For the first time ever, Alfa Romeo is letting industry expert drivers test the Junior Veloce on the entire 20-km circuit in front of the media.

Additionally, Alfa Romeo focused on the Junior Veloce's sporty nature. The finely tuned lower suspension (25mm lower than the standard version) provides better feedback and grip in high-speed cornering. The front and rear anti-roll bars help with that as well.

The vehicle has high-performance 360mm front discs with four-piston monobloc calipers. Moreover, the Veloce ships with 20-inch tires.

I love how the VW's sporty GTX or this VELOCE variant both barely touch 300hp but they're claiming they're super fast amazing machines... Meanwhile the slowest Teslas have 300hp and weigh much less. Love them or hate them, Tesla pus...
