Cadillac GM

Cadillac is making a V-Series version of the Optiq EV, the brand has confirmed today. The Optiq-V is going to be a 2026 model year when it launches. This will be the second Cadillac EV to get the V badge following the launch of the Lyriq-V back in January.

Cadillac shared the teaser image of the Optiq-V which you can see below and not much else for now. It said the Optiq-V will elevate "the brand's performance offering", because "building on the Optiq's agile drive, Cadillac engineers delivered a unique package prioritizing precision, dynamic suspension and tight steering for an exhilarating driving experience".

Make of that what you wish, that's literally all the brand had to say about the Optiq-V at this point. We are however sure that many more teasers will follow as we get closer to its full unveiling in the coming months, so stay tuned.

For 2025 and beyond when it comes to EVs, charging experience is key factor. Can it do 10-80% fast charge in 15 minutes? That experience matters more. Driving experience used to be key differentiator in 2024.
