The Genesis Electrified GV70 has been caught donning a fresh facelift for the first time. This upgrade, spotted in a South Korean parking lot by HealerTV, reveals the design refresh ahead of schedule. The Electrified GV70 is the company's third EV and was first unveiled in November 2021.

This electric powerhouse joined the automotive stage hot on the heels of the Electrified G80 and GV60 in 2021, marking a historic moment as Hyundai's inaugural US-built EV rolled off the assembly line in Alabama in February.

Priced at $66,450 in the US, the 2024 Genesis Electrified GV70 packs a dual-motor powertrain boasting 429 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, coupled with the 77.4 kWh battery, that can carry this SUV for up to 236 miles.

HealerTV's sneak peek into a parking lot reveals a camouflaged exterior, making it challenging to discern specific changes. Yet, keen eyes can catch a glimpse of new headlights, wheels, and a redesigned bumper, as part of the aesthetic overhaul.

Genesis is in the process of upgrading multiple models to align with its evolving design language. The G80 and GV80 are also undergoing transformative changes, promising a refreshed and unified visual identity across the lineup.

As of October, Genesis EVs, including the GV60, Electrified GV70, and Electrified G80, are available in 33 US states as the brand steadily expands its footprint. Genesis wants to have all new models go electric from 2025 onward.
