BMW

April 20th is only days away and it shows - the Internet is awash with spy shots of the upcoming BMW i7/7 duo. The latest round is courtesy of Instagram user Leaktveak. Two photos so far claiming to show exterior and interior on the latest BMW.

Photos appear to be legitimate - the exterior shot looks like it came out of an official press release, the details are consistent with the photos of camouflaged i7 we have seen before - the LED lights separated from main headlights which in turn sit much lower in the front bumper. There’s no walking away from that grille, you’ll be able to tell it’s a BMW even from the International Space Station.

The interior shot is quite interesting because you can see the other 7 or i7 through the windscreen - let’s take it step by step. The materials on the dashboard are again consistent with what we have seen from official sources, the screen has the floating design and it will most likely be joined with the driver’s instrument cluster. Above the screen on the dashboard we can see a speaker grill with a brand name on it - it’s really hard to tell what it is, maybe Harman?

Even more interesting is the other BMW i7 or 7 that we can see in the above photo - we can clearly see the door handles just like the ones on iX, the rear lights though have a surprisingly streamlined shape, we can just make out that they do carry on onto the boot lid but will it be like in the previous model - light bar across the full width? We are pretty sure that we won’t have to wait till next week to find out - the Internet hates surprises.

Well, the front is better than iX. Not that big of an achievement, I know.
