Geely Galaxy TT - another electric sedan from China

Geely has officially revealed its latest electric sports sedan, the Geely Galaxy TT. The vehicle immediately drew attention because its exterior styling looks quite similar to the Xiaomi SU7. The new electric fastback has been designed for the younger crowd who value modern looks and connected features.

The profile of the Galaxy TT highlights the narrow headlights and the smooth hood lines that give the sedan its modern look. The fastback body style closely matches the aggressive appearance that we first saw in official regulatory filings. The vehicle is 196.8 inches long, 75.6 inches wide, and only 58.2 inches tall. It rides on a long 115 inches wheelbase. The 1.3 width-to-height aspect ratio has been cleverly used to decrease wind resistance and boost the sedan's wide, low-slung look. There are eight different exterior paint options, which include distinct choices such as Fjord Blue, Olive Green, and Sunny Noon Blue.

Aerodynamics and lighting play a major role in the visual presence of this sedan. The front has Floating Star-Diamond headlamps positioned right above a sharp, three-section lower air intake assembly. At the opposite end, the rear design gets an active spoiler wing that adjusts through 3 different stages. This wing can deploy to a maximum angle of 22.5 degrees, where it creates up to 508 N of downforce to improve stability at higher speeds. Below the wing, a continuous tail light assembly uses 108 individual LEDs.

Under the bodywork, the Geely Galaxy TT uses a modern 800V platform architecture designed for fast charging and high efficiency. Geely sources the standard lithium-ion cell hardware directly from the battery manufacturer CATL, a dominant supplier in the industry. The engineering team designed the electrical system to accommodate three different pack capacities (52.4 kWh, 63.8 kWh, and 75.2 kWh) to give buyers price and range options.

Certified under the notoriously optimistic CLTC standard, the available configurations offer driving ranges of 336 miles, 398 miles, 404 miles, and 450 miles. Buyers can also choose between two propulsion setups. The base option is a rear-wheel-drive single-motor configuration manufactured by Wuxi Xingqu Drive Technology Co., Ltd., which produces a peak output of 245 kW. The high-performance four-wheel-drive variant combines two electric motors for a total system power of 425 kW.

The interior uses a wrapped layout designed to feel comfortable and interactive. Customers can choose from 4 different interior styles, including options called Mellow Red and Rock Black. The technology inside the cabin runs on the Flyme Auto 2nd Gen operating system. The digital setup includes a primary LCD screen for the driver, a larger central panel for infotainment, and a wide AR-HUD display that projects driving data onto the windshield.

Storage space is generous, and there are some unusual compartments. The 110L frunk is fairly large; the trunk provides 475L of storage with 53L of extra space hiding under the floor. Inside the cabin, smaller items can go into a 12L slide-out glove box, an 8.5L drawer hidden under the rear seating bench, plus there's a 5.2L fridge that can warm things up if needed. Geely also added multiple magnetic and threaded points across the interior, allowing passengers to easily mount various accessories.

Autonomous and safety systems vary by trim level. The car comes with either a standard driver-assist package from Geely or a premium version that uses a LiDAR sensor. The rollout of the Galaxy TT comes at a critical time for the brand, which experienced highly uneven sales results during May 2026. Data from China EV DataTracker shows that the Galaxy M7 led the brand with 7,024 sales for a 23.4% share, and the Galaxy E5 achieved 5,155 registrations. The low-slung Geely Galaxy E8 fastback struggled, finding only 262 buyers to claim a tiny 0.9% of total brand volume.
