The Lotus Eletre's European pricing was revealed back in June last year and we finally get the US pricing as well as an estimated time frame for release on that side of the Atlantic. Lotus is now officially opening up the order books, with actual deliveries commencing sometime in Q4 this year.
The Lotus Eletre all-electric SUV comes in two variants in the US - Eletre S and Eletre R. The entry-level model is asking $107,000 and comes with a dual-motor AWD configuration with 603 hp and 524 lb-ft of torque. The active air suspension is a standard feature along with Lotus' advanced torque distribution system. A 112 kWh battery powers this one and can get you up to 373 miles on a single charge, according to WLTP.
The Eletre R model, on the other hand, gives you 905 hp with 726 lb-ft torque, again all-wheel drive, and features a two-speed automatic transmission, but since it draws power from the same 112 kWh battery, the range is a bit shorter at 304 miles. This version goes for $145,000.
Both variants are based on an 800-volt architecture and allow for 350 kW DC charging, which gets you from 10 to 80% in about 20 minutes.
The more expensive Eletre R offers some upgrades for an extra cost - bigger carbon ceramic brake rotors, 10-piston calipers and a choice between four or five-seater configurations. But no matter which version you choose, the Eletre is equipped with two Nvidia Orin chips for advanced automated driving coupled with 34 sensors, 12 cameras, 18 radars and 4 LiDARs. The available colors are Kaimu Grey, Stellar Black, Akoya White, Solar Yellow, Blossom Grey, Red, and Galloway Green.
