Lynk & Co

The Lynk & Co Z10 was introduced in June and now it's gone up for pre-order. Only the entry-level version with a 400V system and RWD is up for grabs, for CNY 215,800 which right now translates into about $30,100.

This variant has a 200kW motor and is advertised to give you 374 miles of range from its 71 kWh LFP battery, but since it's China we're talking about that's using the CLTC test cycle which is notoriously the most optimistic one out there.

If you pre-order, you'll receive a free package valued at CNY 28,000 ($3,900) which includes a 23-speaker harman / kardon audio system, Nappa seats, and a charging voucher.

Higher-end iterations of the Z10, those you can't pre-order yet, have a 95 kWh battery with 501 miles asvertised CLTC range. The flagship model has a dual-motor setup (310kW rear and 270kW front) and is capable of going from zero to 62 mph in 3.5 seconds. This one has an 800V system which ensures it can add 356 miles of range in just 15 minutes on a fast enough charger.

The Z10 has an extremely low drag coefficient of 0.198 Cd. It's 198 inches long, 77.4 inches wide, and 57.8 inches tall, with a wheelbase of 118.3 inches. Inside there's a 15.4-inch floating center display, and a narrow digital instrument panel. According to sources in China, the Z10 is meant to compete head-on with Xiaomi's wildly successful SU7. The Z10 will become fully official on September 5.
