Volkswagen

Following a delay of almost half a year compared to the initially announced timeline, Volkswagen owners will finally be able to access the Tesla Supercharger network in North America starting on November 18.

Specifically, we're talking about owners of the ID.4 and ID. Buzz. If you are one, you'll be able to use the Tesla app to locate chargers and pay for charging sessions.

You will of course also need a CCS to NACS adapter for your vehicle, which you will be able to purchase from VW dealers or online, priced at $200. Owners of the model year 2025 cars are eligible to receive a $100 rebate on the adapter, presuming they claim the rebate within 90 days of the adapter purchase and no later than July 15, 2026.

All model year 2026 Volkswagen EVs will get the adapter as standard. Certain model year 2024 and 2025 ID.4 and ID. Buzz vehicles will need a recommended software update "to support optimal charging behavior".
