Volkswagen has just announced that its EVs will get access to Tesla's Supercharger network in the US starting in June or July.

So far, Ford, Rivian, GM, Volvo, Polestar, and Nissan EVs have already gained access to Tesla's network, and the next brand to join them will be Mercedes. Then, VW.

VW Group of America director of public relations Mark Gillies told PC Mag that the company will have NACS adapters available for its customers in June-July as well.

VW is currently working on sourcing and approving suppliers for its adapters. These will need to be used to access Tesla's Superchargers. VW hasn't announced pricing for the adapters yet. Starting with 2026 models, VWs sold in the US will come with the NACS port built-in.

VW currently sells two EVs in the US, the ID.4 and the ID. Buzz. The ID.7 should arrive this year to join them.
