Polestar

The Polestar 4 "SUV coupe" was introduced last year and has been advertised to have the lowest carbon impact of all Polestar vehicles at launch. Configurators for it opened in Europe in January, with the release target set for August.

Well, here we are in August and Polestar is right on time, starting deliveries of the Polestar 4 in Europe today, following the start of deliveries in China earlier. The brand now has three cars on offer in Europe: the Polestar 2, the Polestar 3, and, of course, the Polestar 4.

The initial vehicles in Europe were delivered to customers in Germany, Norway, and Sweden. Deliveries in other European markets are "set to accelerate in the coming weeks", the brand promises.

Starting next year, the Polestar 4 will also be made in South Korea, increasing Polestar's ability to produce and deliver more of them globally. Customer deliveries of the Polestar 4 in North America and Australia are expected to commence at some point between October and December.

To mark the occasion, Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath said:

With Polestar 3 on the road since summer, this is the next important milestone for us in 2024 as we make our first European deliveries of Polestar 4 and give our customers even more choice. With three models, Polestar is positioning itself as the design-led premium luxury electric car brand in the global EV market.
