Zeekr

Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle brand belonging to Geely, has announced that it will open pre-orders for its luxurious Zeekr 001 Shooting Brake and the compact Zeekr X SUV in Sweden and the Netherlands on June 28, with first deliveries expected in the fall. For now Europe gets only the 100 kWh Zeekr 001 - the record-breaking Qilin battery-equiped model stays in China.

Having already been met with resounding success in their home market, these high-end electric vehicles (EVs) are set to make waves in the established European luxury car market. The aim is to solidify Zeekr's standing as a leading luxury brand and to further expand its footprint in Western Europe by 2026.

Both models of Zeekr's vehicles are a perfect blend of distinctive design and cutting-edge technology, boasting an impressive range and performance. The Zeekr 001 stands out with its aerodynamic design, which contributes to its notable range and refinement. The vehicle's performance model, equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel drive, can go from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, demonstrating its world-record-breaking agility.

For those concerned with range, the 001's Long Range model, equipped with a 100 kWh battery, can travel up to 385 miles on a single charge, allaying any range anxiety. Charging is a breeze, with 200 kW DC fast charging taking the battery from 0-80% in just 30 minutes, and a full charge can be achieved in about five and a half hours using the powerful 22 kW AC onboard charger.

On the other hand, the urban-focused Zeekr X has a compact but well-executed design. Despite its size, the vehicle boasts luxurious features such as surround sound audio and a super-fast, 5G infotainment system. The dual-motor Privilege model can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, thanks to its impressive 428hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. With a 69 kWh battery, the single motor Long Range Model offers around 273 miles of range, and can be fully charged in only four hours.
