Rivian R2 is coming to Europe

Rivian is unveiling the R2 on March 7 at an event in California. The company has already started teasing the upcoming SUV which will be more affordable than its existing SUV, the R1S. We've also seen the R2 in some spy shots during a photo/video shoot a few days ago, and today we have a confirmation from Rivian itself that the R2 will be sold in Europe.

If you're wondering where in Europe, the UK is confirmed, as are Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands.

What unfortunately isn't confirmed is when the R2 will be traveling across the big pond. At the March 7 event, Rivian is only expected to detail North American availability for the car, so it might be months before we get even a hint about its release in Europe.
