BYD Yangwang

BYD's all-electric supercar Yangwang U9 is capable of impressive feats of performance - it recently lapped the Nürburgring in a little over 7 minutes and reached 233 mph top speed. In the most recent promo video, however, BYD showcases the Disus X hydraulic suspension system's capabilities.

The video shows an unmanned Yangwang U9 going at 75 mph and thanks to its advanced hydraulic suspension system, the car jumps over various obstacles. One of them is a water-filled pothole measuring 8.2 ft-long, although the vehicle was able to leap over 20 ft.

The other obstacle is 3.5 cm-high road spikes, which the Yangwang U9 easily overcomes.

While the Disus X suspension system is known, BYD doesn't share which ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance System) is used for the video. Previously, the company has announced cooperation with DJI and Horizon Robotics.

this car is in a fat SUV weight class. how can we call it athletic? it cannot even keep up with a mere 500hp car on a track with all that mighty 1200hp.
