Tesla

During Zoom's Zoomtopia event, the company announced a partnership with Tesla. Remember the camera placed on the rearview mirror inside the car, which debuted with Model 3? Well, this camera will now let you have Zoom video calls inside the car.

Tesla brings Zoom conference calls to its cars

Of course, there are a couple of caveats to consider. For instance, Zoom works only when the vehicle is stationary - either charging or just parked. All Tesla cars with a camera attached to the rearview mirror will soon get support for Zoom. Older Teslas without the camera are not invited.

Just like its Tesla Theater feature and its gaming integration with Steam, Zoom calls will be more useful once Tesla gains licensing for fully autonomous driving. As of now, only parked Teslas can run those functionalities.
