XPeng

About a year after its official debut in China, the XPeng P7i is getting a new version called P7i Wing Edition, much like the company's previous model got the P7 Wing Edition. The new Wing Edition brings mostly cosmetic changes and a few new interior features.

The new P7i Wing Edition is based on the P7i 702 Max version, which features a 276 hp electric motor with 440 Nm peak torque and 86.2 kWh battery providing 436 miles of range. That's according to CLTC, which tends to be more optimistic with its estimates.

On the outside, the P7i Wing Edition is exactly the same as the standard P7i, except for the scissor doors, of course. The Wing Edition is also adding the Starry Purple and Starry Blue color options and 19-inch black wheels to go with the two paint jobs.

The interior is also untouched for the most part. You get to choose between gray or red, with the latter coming as an option real soon. The seats are fitted with Nappa leather and the front ones are ventilated while the steering wheel is heated. A dual 50-watt, air-cooled wireless charger is also on board and the ambient light system supports 257 colors.

The vehicle is expected to receive the latest MediaTek 5.0 system via an OTA update sometime between April and May.

The car is available for pre-order on XPeng's official website in China, but we might not see it outside its home country.
