XPeng

Today XPeng has semi-unveiled the P7+, which it initially showcased back in September. We still don't have pricing, however, as that will come with a third announcement in November, which will also bring us all the still missing details.

XPeng keeps wanting to bill this as "the world's first AI vehicle", because AI is the buzzword of the year. Pre-sales for the P7+ will begin on October 14, while deliveries will start in November.

The P7+ measures 199.1 inches in length, 76.3 inches in width, and 59.5 inches in height. It has a wheelbase of 118 inches. It has a lithium iron phosphate battery in two versions - 60.7 kWh or 76.3 kWh. These get CLTC ranges of 385 miles and 441 miles, respectively, but as always keep in mind that CLTC ranges are the most unrealistic.

The P7+ will have either 180 kW (241 hp) or 230 kW (308 hp). XPeng boasts that the car can consume as little as 11.6 kWh of electricity per 62 miles. Its cockpit is powered by the Snapdragon 8295 chip. Show cars are available at some XPeng stores already.
