The all-electric BMW i5 Touring only launched about a year ago, and yet it looks like the company is testing an updated version.

However, there's no doubt that we've indeed spotted the BMW i5 Touring here. There are no exhausts, and it's clearly a station wagon. The camo conceals most design traits, although we can see the revamped taillights.

The taillights now look slightly thicker, moving away from the thin LED strips of the current version. The overall chassis adopts more oval lines and angles replacing some sharper lines and streamlining the boxy design. Take a look at the bumper and the rear windows. Anything else remains a mystery, for now.

Since BMW is already testing the i5 Touring on the streets, one would assume the model is coming sooner rather than later. Still, with the current version so fresh it's unlikely to roll off the production line by the end of this year. Perhaps at the start of 2026 at the earliest.
