Our two cents

A favorite vehicle of the upper middle class goes electric. The additional space over the sedan eases loading larger items and allows for significantly more storage. It offers many entertainment options for the passengers. Long journeys are the strongest suit of ICE 5-Series models but thanks to the small battery of the i5 it needs to stop and recharge frequently. A bigger battery and better interior materials are a must.

Wonderful driving characteristics.
High-tech interior.
Practical interior with big cargo compartment.
Multiple online services and even on-board games.
Changing lanes without driver input when cruise control is on.

Expensive when new.
No split-opening tailgate.
Cheap materials all around key areas in the interior as reported by long-time owners.
No battery size options.
Low range on a single charge for its segment.

It is really frustrating, not having those last 6km/h and being forced to drive at 230 all the time...
