Crash tests - definition

If a car has been subjected to standardized crash testing by one of the global authorities on the matter, the results appear here. Crash tests are performed in the US by NHTSA and IIHS, and in Europe by Euro NCAP. There are a number of international agencies that perform crash tests in other parts of the world using the NCAP protocols, such as ANCAP in Australia, China NCAP, and Latin NCAP for Latin America and the Caribbean.
