Kia

At the end of October, Kia revealed the fact that the EV4 sedan meant for the US market was indefinitely delayed. If after reading that you expected this to spread to other models, you were unfortunately right.

Now it's transpired that the 2026 Kia EV9 GT is delayed indefinitely as well for the US market. Once again, the company's wording is similar - "delayed until further notice", and the reason has to do with "changing market conditions".

Kia delays the EV9 GT in the US as well

The EV9 GT was supposed to go on sale in the US in the second half of this year, but that hasn't happened so far and now it definitely won't until the end of December for sure.

While Kia is sticking to using the word "delayed" for both the EV4 sedan and the EV9 GT, we wouldn't be surprised if this was chosen over "cancelled" simply because it doesn't sound as bad, but in the end the meaning is the same.
