Tesla Porsche Lucid

If you like electric cars, and you like them for how fast they can go from zero to... wherever you want to take them, then this is definitely for you. The world's quickest EVs that still look like normal cars - or not very far from that. There are no "hypercar" shapes here, in fact two of these are just plain old sedans.

Wait, did we say "plain"? Ah, no, the Tesla Model S Plaid and Lucid Air Dream Edition Performance are anything but, with the Tesla developing 1,020 hp and the Lucid going all the way to an even more insane 1,111 hp. But wait, there's a Porsche in the mix too! The Taycan Turbo S is the fastest Taycan around, even though its motors "only" develop a "measly" 761 hp.

So, which one of these electric monsters will be fastest in a drag race? Well, that's exactly what YouTube channel DragTimes set out to find out today. And here's the epic result, on video:

That was definitely a ride. And as the spec numbers implied, the Taycan was no match for the other two. It's interesting to see Porsche, a name so associated with performance and sportiness, be beaten like this - but the EV world isn't like the ICE world for sure. Also, the Lucid's extra horsepower didn't really do much in the fight with the Tesla, strangely enough.
