Geely

Geely's sub-brand Galaxy introduced its new ultra-affordable Starship 7 EV. The official pricing, depending on the variant, is between CNY 109,800 ($16,200) and CNY 129,800 ($19,150), but if you add in the CNY 6,000 trade-in subsidy and the CNY 4,000 insurance subsidy, the base configuration dips below CNY 100,000 ($14,800).

Originally, the compact SUV was made available as a PHEV, but now the company is offering the Starship 7 fully electrified. It comes with two LFP battery options - 60.22 kWh and 68.39 kWh. The CLTC range is 326 miles and 376 miles, respectively.

The drivetrain is FWD, making use of a 215-hp electric motor, while the 800-volt platform allows the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes. Vehicle-to-load discharge support is also available at 3.3 kW, as well as a 6-kW vehicle-to-vehicle charging function.

The infotainment system is Meizu's Flyme Auto, controlled by a 15.4-inch central touchscreen and a 13.8-inch heads-up display.
