Tesla posted its Q3 2026 earnings report, and going purely by the numbers, it's neither great nor bad.
During the period, Tesla produced 457,387 Model Y and Model 3 units and delivered 478,237. Including other models, Tesla produced 464,391 cars and shipped 486,532. Revenue was $28.05 billion, the same year-over-year, while GAAP operating income was $787 million, down 43% YoY.
The company also reported $1.53 billion in free cash flow and $4.73 billion in capital expenditures.
Tesla notes some important developments during the three months; the Cybercab entered Robotaxi service, carrying passengers in Austin on September 3. There have now been nearly 2 million cumulative unsupervised Robotaxi miles from the service.
FSD (Supervised) was approved in nine EU countries and is approaching wider adoption. Tesla says more than 100 thousand European customers have driven more than 160 million kilometers using FSD (or Tesla Assisted Driving, as it's now called in the EU).
The Tesla Semi entered volume production in Nevada, and the Roadster has landed. Megafactory Texas also started.
