Audi Announcement

Audi is expanding its electric car lineup with the Q4 35 e-tron, the new entry level option designed to make electric mobility accessible to a wider audience. This new addition to the Q4 e-tron series starts at a relatively competitive price of $53,400.

The Q4 35 e-tron sports a smaller 55 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 221 miles for the standard model and 227 miles for the Sportback. On the upside, the Q4 35 e-tron can recharge from 10% to 80% in just 25 minutes.

Equipped with a single 125 kW (170 hp) electric motor, the Q4 35 e-tron accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 9 seconds flat. You won't break any speed records, but you won't be last off the traffic lights either.

Audi, like many other manufacturers, integrated ChatGPT into the Q4. This advanced LLM goes beyond traditional voice control, offering natural language processing and allowing drivers to ask everyday questions or control various vehicle functions.

Priced at $53,400 for the SUV model and $55,800 for the Sportback, the Q4 35 e-tron positions itself as the cheapest electric Audi yet. It's not the fastest or the one with the longest range, but it's the one the most people can actually afford to get.
