BMW

The BMW X2 series is about to debut next week and we've already seen a short teaser from the company's Instagram page. Today's teaser is a bit more extensive, though, and quite unorthodox too.

BMW has built an entire island in Fortnite with lots of easter eggs scattered throughout the island. The easter eggs include BMW's iconic four-cylinder headquarters building, BMW Welt and the BMW Museum. There's also the BMW iX2, which you can customize after completing certain challenges. You can apply different paint jobs, change the rims or stuff the trunk with various contents.

To get to the island, you need to go to Hypnopolis and enter the following island code: 3541-0917-2429. You will find the first ever car creator in the game and BMW says it has created the entire island on its own without any help from Epic Games.

It's an interesting way to advertise its upcoming vehicle, that's for sure, and perhaps the automaker wants to appeal to a younger audience. However, we are wondering whether such young potential customers can afford a car from one of the premium German manufacturers.
