Renault

In an interview for Autocar, Renault's boss Fabrice Cambolive confirmed that there won't be a successor to the popular Zoe. The car was originally released back in 2012 and has been the best-selling EV for 2015 and 2016 in Europe, while being one of the most popular electric models in its home country breaking 100,000 sales in France alone.

So this announcement comes as a bit of a shock. However, Cambolive reassured that there will be plenty of small-sized EVs in Renault's portfolio. Zoe's role will be taken by the Clio and Captur, both currently offered in hybrid variants as well. The company's boss argued that Zoe makes sense in a pure electric market, but until 2035, the car-maker is better off selling models that can be purchased as EVs and hybrids, like the Captur and Clio. And besides, the Renault 4 and Renault 5, which are both compact options, are arriving in 2025.

Until then, Renault will be focusing more on mid-sized models like the Megane and Scenic, both coming as hybrids and EVs. The Zoe's discontinuation date is yet to be announced, though,

Czechia, Slovakia ... pretty much the same price as in Turkey. €28K really would be a much different story.

they do sell Zoe for €43K and fail in Turkey. no one buys a renault zoe with a price of mercedes A180.if you say Zoe is priced €28K somewhere else,it is totally a different story due to reasonable price.
