Our two cents

A spicy British legend that has turned into a lifestyle icon gets polarizing new looks and is no longer manufactured in Oxford. It is now a more mature vehicle with las fanfare. The peppy driving experience is gone thanks to the enormously heavy weight and lack of grip from the tires. The infotainment is quirky and allows for great customization but the response and loading times don't fit a modern vehicle. You still get the small turning radius, compact size and good build quality to account for a good daily driver.

  • Great steering feedback.
  • High-tech interior.
  • Lots of customization options both outside and inside.
  • Unique lighting configurations.
  • Luxurious for the segment.
  • Expensive.
  • No longer a joyful ride.
  • Cheap materials all around key areas in the interior as reported by long-time owners.
  • Huge added weight with no practical benefits.
  • Low range on a single charge with bad charging times.

Real world range
Our estimates are based on publicly available data. We assume a steady pace, dry road, no significant incline, comfortable cabin temperature and the smallest rims for the model.

Charging time Charging curve
The charging time calculations are based on data from Fastned. The charge curve shows the charging behavior when the battery is in optimal conditions (around 30°C/86°F).
